Part of a green initiative for California, Shift & Save™ uses Thermal Energy Storage (TES) or natural gas to balance energy demands between daytime and nighttime and permanently remove daily AC peak loads over an entire cooling season. TES systems use technologies that store energy in a thermal reservoir for later use to reduce peak air conditioning loads. Natural gas cooling technologies cool buildings without any refrigerants or peak electric demand charges.
